Professor
Cobie Rudd appointed to the International Board of Directors
for IARSLCE
Professor Cobie Rudd, ECU's Head of the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Postgraduate Medicine, is the first Australian to be appointed to the International Board of Directors for the International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement (IARSLCE).
The IARSLCE is an international, non-profit organisation devoted to promoting research and discussion about service-learning and community engagement.
Professor Rudd, who is also Professor of Mental
Health Nursing, will attend the next IARSLCE
conference and Board meeting in Ottawa in October.
Her appointment to this Board will assist in
building collaborations between institutions
in the United States and Canada with those in
Australia, and in particular ECU.

Careers Night - August 7, 2009
This is the one night of the year when the School opens up the building and showcases its facilities to the public. This is a really fun evening and there are interactive displays, demonstrations, students on-hand to discuss their course experiences, and light refreshments will be provided.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend. This will be on the 7th August from 6.30pm onwards!
Prospective students and family can RSVP to snmpm@ecu.edu.au. RSVP's close 24 hours prior to commencement.
