Courses offered by the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Postgraduate Medicine cover a wide spectrum of the health area - from disease prevention and health enhancement, to treatment and patient care. Courses are offered at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

  • Undergraduate Nursing : We offer undergraduate courses for those with or without previous nursing training.
  • Postgraduate Nursing : Postgraduate courses in nursing are offered in the areas of many clinical areas including critical care, mental health, palliative care, preventive medicine and occupational medicine health and safety.
  • Postgraduate Midwifery : These postgraduate courses prepare students who are already nurses for entry to midwifery.
  • Postgraduate Medicine : Postgraduate medical courses include Aviation Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Occupational Medicine Health and Safety, Men's Health and Andrology, Palliative Care and Preventive Medicine.
  • Postgraduate Health professionals : Health professionals from a variety of backgrounds are eligible for courses in Palliative Care and Preventive Medicine
  • Paramedical Science : Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses training graduates for roles within paramedicine
  • Associate Certificate : We offer a course in mental health registration for mental health nurses whose practice and registration has lapsed for five or more years.
